Editorial Policy
Our goal is useful, current, clearly sourced study material without implying government authorship or guaranteed results.
Source standards
Legal, licensing, testing, fee, and safety claims should be supported by current Ontario legislation, ontario.ca, or DriveTest pages. Secondary sources may help identify a topic but do not override a primary source.
Review and dates
Driving-rule content is scheduled for review at least every 90 days. A “reviewed” date changes only after the linked sources have actually been checked. Article publication and modification dates represent real editorial events.
Corrections
Material corrections are made promptly after verification. Significant updates should explain the changed requirement in clear language and replace obsolete claims rather than silently preserving contradictory wording.
AI-assisted features
AI explanations are learning aids and can be incomplete or wrong. They should remain grounded in supplied MTO material, show available source context, and direct users to official information when the evidence is insufficient.
Independence and commercial content
Paid access does not change factual answers or source selection. DriveTest Pro is independent of government and testing organizations. See About and Sources and Methodology.
